An English teacher facilitating discussion with adult learners

Use tomorrow.

Low preparation, high attention.

The noticing pause

After a first reading, ask learners to mark one choice they think the writer made deliberately. Compare reasons before naming grammar.

Three versions

Give one sentence in neutral, informal and formal versions. Learners map the relationship, not simply rank correctness.

Listening prediction

Pause before a speaker's final phrase. Groups predict both the words and the intonation, then justify their choices.
